northAmerican Salutes Our Combat Veterans on Medal of Honor Day
Today is “Medal of Honor” Day, a day designated by Congress in 1991 to recognize “members of the armed forces who have distinguished themeselves conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the rist of their lives and above and beyond the call of duty.” northAmerican Van Lines, the official moving partner of the Gary Sinise Foundation, would like to recodnize all those that have given and continue to give so much for our freedoms. We Salute all Medal of Honor recipients, as well as all our military service men and women, active and retired, and our honored to be able to serve our combat veterans in support of the Gary Sinise Foundation.
I want to send a massive thank you to Mario and the entire crew at Scarr Moving. We all know the quoting process can be painful, but Mario was a total pro—he stuck with me and waited patiently for all the approvals to clear. When move day came, he sent a powerhouse team of four, which was exactly what we needed to hit our deadline. We never could have finished in time with a smaller crew! So thanks for that!
A huge shout-out to Chris, who I absolutely love working with. He is a master at what he does; he managed the team flawlessly and took a massive amount of stress off my shoulders. I also have to mention Gordo —he’s a real hard worker! The team worked tirelessly and never once asked, ‘Is that it?’ or ‘Are we done yet?’ They just got the job done with a great attitude.
This was a super fast-paced project and needed a team that actually delivered. And that they did!

We can’t say enough about Scarr Moving & Storage. From our initial contact with Mark to Mario’s quote to just now thanking our driver, Chris, everyone was professional and treated our furniture with the utmost care. Our move started with packing of our kitchen and loading our 3000 + square foot home in Gilroy and driving our goods to Temecula. Chris was our driver and was wonderful. This was our 5th move in 16 years, and this was by far the easiest as far as our moving company went. The logistic of our move were a headache, but Mark never made us feel like we were an imposition. We highly recommend Scarr Moving! Thanks Chris!

I want to thank you and Jerry, Mike and Felipe for helping me move on Nov. 29th from Salinas to Cloves, Ca. The men arrived at 7:00am and had the entire contents of my apartment loaded into the van by 10:45am. They were all very well-mannered and understanding and patient with me, even though I had not finished packing a lot of items. Once at my new apt. in Cloves they quickly unloaded everything without my help and placed the furniture in the proper rooms, They left around 4:00 or 4:30pm
It was the easiest move I’ve ever made!
